The Role of Automated X-ray Inspection (AXI)

AXI is primarily used for the inspection of assembled circuit boards (PCBs). While its function is similar to automated optical inspection (AOI), AXI uses X-ray radiation. This allows AXI to deeply analyze the internal structure and detect various hidden defects.
